Tell us about your idea.

A free prototype takes one to two weeks to build. The 30-minute scoping call is the only thing that has to happen first. We usually book it for the same week.

The more we know, the more useful the call.

We read every enquiry. No CRMs, no auto-responders, no chasing.

FAQ

Things people ask before they get in touch.

01

Is the prototype really free?

Yes. £0. No deposit, no signed contract before we start, no hidden retainer. We only get paid if you choose to commission the full build at the end. If you don’t, we’ve both spent two weeks finding out, and we walk away.

02

Why would you do this?

We’re a new studio. We don’t have a decade of case studies to point at, and asking businesses to trust us based on words is a hard sell. Building something for you is the most honest way to show you what we can do.

03

How much of my idea will the prototype cover?

One main workflow, end-to-end. Not every feature on your list, but the one that proves the idea works. We agree exactly what’s in scope on the call before we start.

04

Who owns the code?

If you commission the full build, you do, from day one. Standard work-for-hire terms, no licensing, no maintenance contract gating access. The prototype itself is built on spec and stays with us until you decide to take the project forward.

05

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, happily. We’ve got a mutual NDA we can send over before the call if you’d prefer, or we can sign yours. We’re a UK Ltd company and we treat client information as confidential by default.

06

What if you’re too busy to take on my project?

We only run a handful of prototypes at a time so we can do them properly. If we’re full, we’ll tell you on the call and book you in for the next available slot, usually within a few weeks.
